Richard was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997 after a distinguished twenty seven year career with the Walnut Creek Police Department. Richard works exclusively in the family law department of the Family Trusts and Estates Law Group.

Richard attended the University of California at Berkeley, and California State University, Hayward. He graduated with a B.S. in Administration and Management. His legal studies were performed at the John F. Kennedy University School of Law. He has since taught courses in criminal law & procedures at JFK University. Richard is a Colonel in the California State Defense Forces, part of the California National Guard. He is the Director of Operations, Plans and Training for the CASDF.

Richard's extensive training in law enforcement, investigation and legal representation has provided him with a unique combination of knowledge and experience.
